Kyouko stood at the bus stop, her heart pounding in her chest as she watched the alleyway across the street. She had walked past Toshi, the drug dealer, a thousand times before, but she had never mustered up the courage to speak to him. But she was determined to approach him and get what she wanted.
She took a deep breath and checked her reflection in her phone screen. Her long blonde hair was styled in loose waves, her eyes lined with kohl, and her lips painted a deep red. She looked good, she thought. She looked confident.
She crossed the street and made her way down the alleyway, her heels clicking against the pavement. She could see Toshi in the distance, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. She took another deep breath and approached him.
"Toshi," she said, her voice steady.
Toshi turned to her, a slow smile spreading across his face. "Well, well, well," he said. "If it isn't the girl who always walks past but never stops."
Kyouko felt a shiver run down her spine. Toshi was even more attractive up close. His black hair was styled in a messy fringe, his eyes were a deep brown, and his lips were full and inviting. She could feel herself getting wet just looking at him.
