Kyouko had been trying to get ahold of Mindy for the past hour, she wanted to make sure that she was ok, but now she had weed, she knew that Mindy could do with a smoke. She and Mindy had always shared a special bond, one that was strengthened by their love of getting high together. They would laugh until their sides ached, gorge on junk food, and share all their deepest secrets. It was a ritual that they both cherished, a way to escape the stresses of the world and just be themselves.
Kyouko tried calling Mindy one last time before the bus passed her stop, and to her relief, she picked up. "Hey gorgeous girl, my bus will be going past your stop soon, shall I come and see you?" Kyouko asked, unable to hide the joy in her voice.
"Hi Kyouko, good to hear your voice," Mindy replied, sounding a little down. "Yes, pop round and see me, could do with your company."
Kyouko felt a surge of relief and excitement at hearing those words. "Okay baby girl, I will be about half an hour. Guess what I got?"
There was a brief pause before Mindy's voice came back on the line, full of energy and excitement. "Please tell me you got some weed?"
Kyouko couldn't help but laugh. "I got weed baby girl," she said, trying to sound coy.
The two friends squealed with excitement, like little girls who had just been told they were going to Disneyland.
